Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Lab Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and improve advanced semiconductor equipment in an R&D lab setting. You will work with engineering teams on prototype development, equipment validation, and customer demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 5 years of semiconductor equipment experience.
• Experience supporting equipment in cleanroom environments.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with robotics, pneumatics, electronics, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency using diagnostic equipment such as Digital Voltmeters (DVMs).
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, robotic, and system-level equipment issues.
• Install, configure, and support prototype equipment for engineering and R&D activities.
• Calibrate equipment and ensure optimal system performance.
• Support process development, hardware engineering, software engineering, and customer demonstration activities.
• Develop maintenance procedures and technical documentation for new equipment and engineering projects.
• Perform equipment upgrades, modifications, and system improvements.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeters (DVMs) and other test instruments.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of required PPE when handling hazardous materials.
• Provide technical support for customer installations and field issues when required.
• Train field service engineers, technicians, process engineers, and other technical personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support customer sites and engineering activities.
