Laboratory Scientist 1 (R&D)
JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs timely and accurate laboratory work on a range of standard experiments and studies, routine testing, analysis of data, and other study-related tasks in compliance with the company and external regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Collects, processes, and analyzes biological laboratory samples using standard lab equipment / methods following established lab procedures
  • Understands and follows safety and infection control standards
  • Maintains accurate laboratory quality records and logs
  • Executes GLP / Study protocols
  • Records results of tests, organizes data; performs basic computations
  • Contributes to reports using standard procedures and guidelines
  • Operates standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pH meter, and pipettes)
  • Performs lab maintenance, QC checks, and assists with general upkeep
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education

Bachelor’s degree in life science, physical science, hematology, or related discipline, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of college-level laboratory experience in related field. This position is an entry‑level role for individuals who hold a bachelor’s of science degree, or an associate of science degree in addition to related industry experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

General Labor Environment requirements include : use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching / reaching, hand / finger dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.

Target Pay Range :

$66,800.00to$83,500.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base : 7.0%
