Position Summary
In a technological environment that evolves at high pace, the Lab Robotics Manager will act as key enabler for the automation of the Scientific Area, Vx CL&AP, and DDS laboratories. Successful delivery of high-throughput lab equipment and high-tech instruments will be key to answer the increased needs of clinical test read‑outs as well as to accelerate the delivery of the R&D projects pipeline.
The incumbent will contribute to the design of systems that aim at being used at the maximum of their capacity and that unlock the full scientific potential of the generated data. This person will perform proper prioritization, disciplined project execution and continuously assess and adapt where/when needed the ways of working to ensure that the team can provide best‑in‑class technical solutions.
The incumbent will also work in partnership with a broad range of stakeholder groups such as Quality, Computer System Validation, Tech, Procurement and the R&D scientific platforms to proactively define technology standards, identify cost saving opportunities and accelerate generation of scientific results.
This person will be accountable the design, deployment and sustainable lifecycle management of a broad range of lab robotics systems, must be able to work independently and assess complex situations and must be able to manage the automation and robotics areas, including management of related personnel because this role requires the highest standards in terms of quality and data integrity and must be able to interact with a large panel of stakeholders and to effectively communicate inside as well as outside the project teams
