Washington University in St. Louis seeks a Research Technician II (Time-limited) to support anesthesiology research focused on heart failure mechanisms.

You will assist with studies using mice, tissue culture, and molecular assays, maintain data, and help prep materials for experiments in a busy lab. The ideal candidate will have up to one year of lab experience, strong organization, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or combination of education/experience.
• No specific certification required.
• No prior work experience required for this position.

Responsabilités

• Assist investigator with research studies, experiments and assays; collect data and prepare materials.
• Perform data entry and maintain data files for research projects.
• Prepare tissue cultures, reagents, probes; set up equipment and maintain lab conditions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation on lab and specimen conditions.
• Assist with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.
