The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Research Assistant I to support laboratory-based research, data management, and collaboration with faculty investigators. The role emphasizes hands-on experiments, data reporting, and maintaining laboratory operations in a dynamic team setting.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in basic sciences and experience with cell culture, PCR, Western blotting, and data handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in basic sciences.
• Experience in laboratory research or related environment preferred.
• Onsite presence required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research experiments and laboratory tests
• Perform cell culture activities
• Conduct Western blot procedures and analyses
• Process research samples according to protocols
• Perform protein expression and purification procedures
• Conduct PCR applications and related molecular biology techniques
• Assist with in vitro and preclinical animal model research
• Coordinate animal model activities with husbandry and veterinary staff
• Record experimental data using required documentation methods
• Attend meetings and collaborate with investigators and staff
• Utilize PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and GraphPad Prism for presentations and data reporting
