UNC Health Appalachian in Boone, NC is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the Laboratory's Quality Management Program, ensuring regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and ongoing performance improvement across our health system.

You will partner with laboratory leadership, medical staff, and organizational quality departments to develop, monitor, and implement quality initiatives, with a focus on safety and service excellence.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of laboratory quality, regulatory, technical, supervisory, or leadership experience.
• Experience with CAP, CLIA, AABB, Joint Commission, and CMS regulatory requirements.
• Experience with quality management systems and accreditation preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the laboratory Quality Management Program and improve it.
• Oversee quality indicators, occurrence management, competency assessment and document control.
• Review validation and verification activities and monitor proficiency testing.
• Lead inspection readiness and accreditation activities.
• Implement corrective actions and drive continuous process improvement.
• Provide analytical support through data collection, trending, benchmarking, and reporting.
• Serve as a technical resource for regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Promote UNC Health Appalachian's mission, vision, and values.
