Job summary

Antheia Singapore is seeking a Lab Ops and Research Associate to keep the lab running, support strain construction, and collaborate with senior scientists advancing metabolic engineering for therapeutic impact.

You will prep reagents, manage inventory and autoclaving, and perform molecular biology tasks such as PCR, cloning, and plasmid work while documenting in ELN. This is a fast-moving environment requiring curiosity and organization.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 1–2 years lab experience in industry or academia.
• Hands-on with PCR, gel electrophoresis, cloning.
• Familiar with microbial culture and aseptic technique.
• Excellent organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily lab operations and inventory.
• Prepare media, buffers, and stock solutions.
• Assist with PCR, DNA assembly, and plasmid prep.
• Perform yeast and E. coli transformations and verification.
• Document work in ELN and follow SOPs.
