Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees all aspects of the laboratory, including personnel, operations, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develops long- and short-range goals with supervisory staff and administration; oversees progress.
• Manages budget, capital expenses, inventory, and expenditure variance; ensures records are maintained.
• Keeps current with field developments and applies knowledge to operations.
• Leads staff recruitment, development, and performance management.
• Oversees quality control programs and implementation of quality management system requirements.
• Ensures compliance with CAP, COLA, AABB, SC DHEC, and DNV regulations.
