Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological science and 3 years in biomedical research.
• Hands-on experience processing primary biological samples.
• Multicolor flow cytometry experience from panel design to analysis.
• Ability to run immunoassays independently and troubleshoot.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple studies and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nonhuman primate studies end to end: scheduling, sample collection, processing, and biobanking.
• Run multicolor flow cytometry: panel design, acquisition, compensation, and analysis.
• Execute and optimize immunoassays and molecular workflows; generate publication-quality data.
• Own regulatory documentation under IACUC and IBC oversight.
• Handle biological materials under BSL-2 containment.
• Work day to day with the Division of Veterinary Medicine, external sponsors, and collaborating labs.
• Supervise, train, and mentor lab personnel in immunological, molecular, and sample-processing techniques.
• Contribute to manuscripts and grant preparation.
• Manage lab logistics: ordering, inventory, equipment, and study records.
