Job summary

adient in Plymouth, MI seeks a organized Sample & Logistics Coordinator to manage flow, storage, and tracking of test samples, fixtures, and lab equipment. You'll support the Test Lab and Validation teams by ensuring materials are received, stored, distributed, and shipped efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in shipping/logistics, can coordinate across labs, lift up to 50 lbs, and is comfortable with forklift operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow established processes and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming samples and shipments; scan, log, and distribute to appropriate locations.
• Coordinate movement of samples, fixtures, and equipment between labs, storage, and teardown areas.
• Remove completed test samples and fixtures from labs and route for teardown or storage.
• Support lab and validation teams with material movement requests.
