Job summary

BCMC is seeking a Lab Manager to lead Linux systems administration for the TEN lab environment, spanning development, lab, and production across Windows, Linux, and virtualization platforms. The role requires 5+ years of Linux admin experience, Splunk and Ansible expertise, and active DoD Secret clearance with on-site duties in Arlington, VA.

You will implement automation, security controls, and maintain incident-response infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly relevant experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• 3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise administration and log ingestion
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible automation (Ansible Core or Ansible Tower/AAP)
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
• Must be able to work collaboratively across physical locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Linux Systems Administration across development, lab, and production environments (RHEL).
• Perform large-scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix, and virtualization environments.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows for automation and provisioning.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for large-scale provisioning and compliance.
• Administer Splunk Enterprise/Cloud for monitoring and analytics; implement security controls and STIGs.
