Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Coralville, IA, is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, and repair laboratory and mechanical equipment on-site. The role supports SOP development, IQOQ templates, and process improvements to drive reliability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or relevant technical experience, strong technical writing, blueprints literacy, and ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field OR several years of experience in a directly related technical role.
• Experience in technical writing, including manuals and user guides.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair laboratory and mechanical equipment.
• Assist in developing SOPs, IQOQs, calibration templates and work instructions for new and existing equipment.
• Provide leadership in multiple areas of expertise and recommend process improvements.
