Job summary

Randstad Digital in Boston, Massachusetts, seeks a hands-on Lab Engineer to support next‑generation robotics systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline).
• 5 years of experience in a technical lab, robotics, electro‑mechanical, or automation setting.
• Strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems, control systems (PLC, I/O), and hardware test rigs.
• Proven ability to safely operate equipment following safety protocols (LOTO, safety interlocks).
• Ability to interpret complex engineering documentation, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Experience integrating third‑party sensors and gantry control platforms.
