Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Lab Engineer to support laboratory testing, product development, quality, and engineering activities. Ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, building/testing equipment, and working in a laboratory environment.

• Perform electromechanical and some chemical, quality, and product performance testing.


• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment.

• Support product development, validation, and root-cause investigations.


• Analyze data and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, or related field.


• Hands-on laboratory, academic, internship, or industry experience.


• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.


• Experience with pH, conductivity, titration, ORP, or similar testing preferred.


• CAD/SolidWorks and electro-mechanical experience are a plus.


• Recent graduates with strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
