Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Service Representative/Courier for the Lafayette, LA area. You will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while delivering excellent client service.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 10am–6:00pm with one rotating weekend per month; includes a company vehicle with optional personal use for $125 per month. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous driver/courier experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage daily pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for extra pickups as needed.
• Assess traffic, routes, and weather when planning routes.
