Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is seeking a Courier to transport specimens, testing supplies, and test results between client facilities and the clinical laboratory, following established routes and safety protocols.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate automatic vehicles, and pass required screenings is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess a valid and current driver's license required; Hawaii license preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Familiar with island communities, rural, and remote areas.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.
• Able to operate automatic transmission vehicles.
• Proficient with specimen/package tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Transports laboratory specimens from client facilities to the clinical laboratory safely and on time.
• Handles requests for special services, e.g., STAT and timed specimens.
• Delivers specimen collection supplies and test results to clients promptly.
• Uses electronic tracking system to monitor specimens.
• Assists in moving lab equipment and supplies between locations.
• Adheres to confidentiality, safety, compliance, and legal requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
