Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Columbus, MS is seeking a part-time Courier/Logistics professional to transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between laboratories and healthcare providers. The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work Mon-Wed, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

You'll interact with clients, maintain safety and quality controls, and support patient care through dependable transport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift light to medium loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between laboratories and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
