Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is hiring for a part-time Driver/Courier in Corpus Christi, TX. The role focuses on transporting reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare providers.

You will ensure proper specimen handling and safe vehicle operation in all weather and traffic conditions. Responsibilities include interacting with clients, maintaining safety and quality standards, and working 20 hours per week on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record over the past three years.
• Ability to operate a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints and without close supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all conditions.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
