Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Lab Coordinator to execute lab procedures per GCP, ICH, FDA/HIPAA guidelines and company SOPs. You will draw and process specimens, monitor inventory, and support shipments to central labs.

Minimum 1 year in clinical laboratory processing is required; Associates degree preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; full-time with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory processing experience.
• Associates degree is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draw and process specimens according to trial requirements.
• Assist with specimen shipments to central labs and ensure proper shipping methods.
• Monitor expiration dates on lab equipment and supplies.
• Unpack and put away incoming lab supplies.
• Maintain general and study-specific lab inventory.
• Transport samples.
• Mentor new hires and allow shadowing.
• Complete and renew GCP/IATA training as required.
• Attend SIVs and sponsor-required lab training.
• Support other clinical research activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FDA regulations.
