Job summary

Mars Reno site seeks a Lab Analyst Supervisor to lead and oversee instrumental analyses of ingredients, ensuring accurate results, proper documentation, and strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices. The role includes supervising technicians, training, and coordinating sampling with regional labs.

You will interpret procedures, implement new methods, and maintain calibration records while ensuring safety and quality across all testing activities.

Qualifications

• Performs and supervises laboratory analysis of ingredients.
• Maintains Good Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
• Records results accurately and ensures complete documentation.
• Coordinates sampling and testing across materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead site lab technicians in physical and chemical tests.
• Interpret analytical method procedures and safety instructions.
• Deploy Mars-approved new methods as required by Regional QFS Testing Manager.
• Maintain records and perform trend analysis for quality control.
• Inform QFS and Line Manager of quality deviations and corrective actions.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; perform basic instrument troubleshooting.
