Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Lab Technician in Acton, MA for a temp-to-potential-hire role. The position operates 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and requires strong attention to detail in a GMP-regulated setting.

Responsibilities include receiving samples, data entry, inventory management, and maintaining traceability. Growth opportunities exist within the company as you contribute to quality and compliance in the lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of lab, GMP, manufacturing, or sample management experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to maintain documentation and follow procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Basic knowledge of GMP principles and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming client samples and verify shipments against submission forms and required documentation.
• Inspect samples for condition, quantity, labeling, and applicable storage requirements.
• Enter, track, and maintain sample information in laboratory systems and records.
• Label, organize, stage, store, and distribute samples to designated laboratory areas.
• Maintain sample traceability and chain-of-custody documentation throughout the receipt, storage, and transfer process.
• Monitor sample storage locations, including refrigerators and freezers, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain organized sample receipt, staging, and storage areas.
• Follow established SOPs, GDP, and cGMP.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel and other departments to resolve sample discrepancies and ensure timely availability for testing.

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $23.00 per hour
