Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a detail-oriented lab technician to prepare media and buffers for cell culture under supervision. You will support troubleshooting, assist scientists with investigations, and manage inventory to maintain smooth lab operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with five years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong organizational skills and motivation to learn.
• Foundational chemistry knowledge (pH, osmolarity, solution calculations).
• Attention to detail in scientific observations and records.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Drive for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media and buffers for cell culture experiments under supervision.
• Support troubleshooting to correct deviations in media preparations.
• Assist scientists with media and buffer investigations.
• Inventory lab supplies and assist in ordering supplies.
• Support lab productivity and efficiency initiatives.
• Clean and maintain lab and equipment.
• Prepare solutions and maintain lab spaces for other groups as time allows.
• Autoclave solutions and cell culture assemblies as needed.
