Henry Ford Diagnostic Center - Townsend offers laboratory, radiology, and imaging services in a comfortable and convenient setting. Our experienced team works closely with physicians to deliver accurate, timely results supporting optimal patient care.

General Summary

Under limited supervision, performs laboratory support procedures including specimen collection or phlebotomy, order entry, processing, point of care testing, and transport of laboratory specimens. Performs blood sample collection at least 25% of scheduled hours. Interacts professionally with patients, staff, and caregivers.

Shift Details

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum six months of phlebotomy experience or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program.
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate customer service skills.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Availability Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Saturday rotation from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation required for off-site travel.
• Experience in hospital or clinic laboratory preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
