Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a phlebotomist to join our laboratory team in Michigan. You will master phlebotomy, collect blood samples, and help keep specimens moving through the lab while maintaining accuracy in order entry and point-of-care testing.

• Master the art of phlebotomy – Perform blood sample collection for at least 25% of your scheduled hours, becoming a pro at making patients feel comfortable and confident.
• Keep specimens moving – Process and transport laboratory specimens and materials like a well-oiled machine, following established procedures to keep the lab running smoothly.
• Get it right, every time – Conduct order entry and point of care testing with accuracy and efficiency, knowing your precision directly impacts patient outcomes.
• Be the friendly face – Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine courtesy and professionalism, creating positive experiences that make a real difference.
