Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Blood Bank with second shift blood component processing, specimen receipt, and lab assistant duties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy training preferred, and may have 1 year hospital phlebotomy experience. A Laboratory Assistant license or trainee status must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen collection.
