Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on both full-time and part-time schedules. The role involves processing samples, conducting exempt screening and monitoring tests, and drawing blood for testing in line with CMS CLIA '88, OSHA, and Piedmont policies.

Ideal candidates will hold a high school diploma or GED, have no experience required with one year preferred, and possess or pursue CPT phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Experience performing EKGs preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests per CMS CLIA '88 and applicable standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens per Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
