Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Lab Assistant to support day-to-day operations at our Madison, WI laboratory. You will assist with processing samples, maintaining a clean and compliant work environment, and helping ensure safe and efficient workflow.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the capacity to learn new tasks. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to Madison and be available for overtime or weekend work.

Job Description

Position Summary: Assists laboratory personnel in any way to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Duties include:

Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

Regular attendance and punctuality

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

Dispose of samples once complete

Place pipettes in washer

Put away clean glassware, pipettes

Wash stoppers

Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment

Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Performs other duties as assigned

Other Factors:

Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
