Qualifications

• Successful completion of the lab portion of one of the sequences with minimum grade B.
• Strong computer application skills.
• Minimum qualifications determined by the teaching discipline and accrediting bodies; credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various test specimens and growth media for biology, chemistry, or related labs.
• Prepare chemical solutions and set up equipment; report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Clean labs and equipment after exercises; maintain safety practices and inventory.
• Maintain MSDS records, assist with record-keeping and filing.
• Communicate clearly in oral and written form.
