Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) is seeking a Lab Assistant Float in the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area to perform specimen collection, processing, and analysis under supervision, supporting high-volume oncology testing. You will help maintain logs, instrument maintenance, and quality control to ensure accurate results.
You will assist with patient flow, adhere to CLIA guidelines, and contribute to a safe, efficient laboratory environment in a fast-paced cancer care setting.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a Lab Assistant Float within the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area to execute a wide breadth of functions essential to providing patient care such as accurately performing specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control procedures for moderate to high complexity laboratory tests. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume oncology practice with some of the best physicians in their fields while providing care to patients in a successful healthcare organization.
Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the collecting and processing of specimens from patients, documenting results according to established procedures. Assists with performing specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control procedures as indicated. Follows quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. Assists with patient flow as needed. Properly identifies patients, draws blood samples, and sends them to the laboratory for analysis. Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record-keeping duties. Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Requires corrected vision, color perception, and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
