Exocel Bio is dedicated to exosomes research and the commercialization for skin and hair rejuvenation. The biotech company manufactures and sells Exovex, a serum of purified exosomes. Exovex is for professional used only and is applied topically post procedure such as microneedling and laser treatments. Our exosomes are packed with precision growth factors and miRNA, which combined with traditional aesthetic procedures allows our customers to making anti-aging a reality

Summary/Objective

Our lab assistant is responsible for supporting laboratory operations.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies to ensure safety.
• Follow lab safety standards by using laboratory safety guidelines, using proper personal protection equipment, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness.
• Document product specifications, SDSs, testing SOPs, and product formulations as directed.
• Must know basic laboratory techniques and standard laboratory working environment equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and schedule service calls as needed
• Clean and sterilize instruments, glassware, and equipment.
• Ensure laboratory consumables and other supplies are maintained in stock
• Meet with team members and support projects within areas such as R&D, GMP manufacturing, and customer operations
• Support existing projects and leverage their problem-solving skills
• Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

• Support research experiments and special projects as needed.

Qualifications Requirements

• 4-year college degree in science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment & Mental and Physical Requirements

• Comfortable to work in ISO 7 settings if needed
• This job requires partial presence in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other common office equipment and accessories.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position; move; operate and use required equipment; and reach items
• Ability to move/transport up to 30 lbs., and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to communicate, converse with others, and exchange information
