Optima Medical is seeking a laboratory technician to perform waived and moderately complex analyses, ensure quality control, maintain instruments, and report patient results. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with clinical staff in a multi-location medical group.
The candidate should have a phlebotomy certification and prior laboratory experience is valued. Training will be provided to ensure adherence to procedures and patient care standards.

Completed at least 6 months of training approved by the Division and demonstrated an ability to perform laboratory procedures in the laboratory where he or she has received such training;
Obtained a certification in phlebotomy from an organization approved by the Division, including, without limitation:
Worked at least 30 hours per week for at least 3 years during the immediately preceding 5 years in:
A clinical laboratory in another country accredited pursuant to ISO 15189 of the International Organization for Standardization by an appropriate organization that accredits medical laboratories in that country; or
A clinical laboratory in another country licensed or certified by an appropriate governmental entity in that country and approved by an International Advisory Board appointed by the Board of Certification of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, or its successor organization.
