Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Lab Aide - QA to support the CRSP team in Seattle. You will perform daily QA/QC reviews, data entry, and documentation to maintain compliance with quality standards. Work is performed under supervision of the QA Coordinator for CRSP.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with an interest in sciences.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, familiarity with SmartSheet or Florence eBinders, ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA review of completed laboratory records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data entry, scanning, and filing, including Florence eBinders maintenance.
• Research and resolve sponsor and clinical team queries with accurate information.
• Generate and deliver routine quality and compliance reports to study teams.
• Provide support for specimen inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Support the Clinical Research Specimen Processing (CRSP) team by performing daily Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) review, data entry, and documentation to maintain compliance with quality standards. This role is responsible for applying established QA protocols to ensure the accuracy and integrity of laboratory data for clinical research. The incumbent shall work under the close supervision of the Quality Assurance Coordinator for CRSP.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent with a demonstrated interest in the sciences.
• Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree
• Familiarity with SmartSheet and/or Florence eBinders
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new systems and protocols
• Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with using a 24 hour clock
• Familiarity with data visualization and quantitative problem-solving

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
