Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a staff member to perform waived and moderate-complexity testing per CLIA '88 guidelines, interpret and report results in Microbiology, and conduct quality control, quality assurance, and maintenance. The role operates independently but under supervision of the department coordinator or a certified technologist/technician.

Additional duties include clerical tasks, specimen collection, accessioning and processing of specimens, and answering phones while relaying patient

Qualifications

• For areas of moderate-complexity testing,have earned a high school diploma orequivalent
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and moderate-high complexity testing and interpret/report results per CLIA '88 guidelines.
