Job summary

Valley View is seeking a Lab Aide to join the Laboratory team. The role involves receiving and collecting lab specimens, performing phlebotomy and capillary sticks, and registering patients while entering orders in the system.

Excellent schedule with 7 on/7 off evenings (1:00pm - 11:30pm) and rotating weekends; Baylor pay applies. On-site at Valley View Hospital's Laboratory in Glenwood Springs, CO. Compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Lab Aide to work in Valley View Hospital's Laboratory!

As a Lab Aide you will receive and collect lab specimens, perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure, and register patients and enter orders amongst other responsibilities!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer and filing skills.
• Ability to order tests accurately.

SALARY RANGE:

• $20.41to$30.02/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.

Differentials:

• $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
• $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Monday.
