Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a laboratory support assistant to perform routine tasks under supervision. You will prepare media and reagents, rinse glassware, maintain a clean lab, and assist with experiments and clerical duties.

The role offers an hourly pay range of $21.30 to $30.13, with pay based on experience and qualifications; some lab experience preferred and a strong interest in sciences is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with an interest in the sciences.
• Some lab experience and/or college level chemistry courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media and reagents, such as stock solutions.
• Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning. Deliver glassware to storage areas.
• Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment.
• May check and replenish supplies.
• May assist with experiments and set-up.
• Perform simple, routine and repetitive laboratory tests and procedures as directed.
• Perform clerical duties as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
