Forklift & Warehouse Specialist – 1st Shift (Preferred Medical)

Location: La Vergne, TN (Directly behind NDC)

Agency: Abacus Corporation – Smyrna Branch

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

Abacus is looking for high-energy, reliable individuals for a premier medical supply distribution center. This is a Bilingual-Friendly environment with NO language barrier. We are seeking operators who are comfortable with a mix of equipment operation and manual labor.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Must be proficient in operating a Cherry Picker (Order Picker) and/or a Sit-Down Forklift.
• Heavy Lifting: This is a physical role. You will be handling large, heavy medical supplies and equipment.
• Manual Palletizing: You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, ensuring heavy items are stacked safely on the bottom and lighter items on top.
• Inventory Accuracy: Precise picking and scanning of medical products for outbound shipments.

Candidate Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the shift.
• Strict Attendance: This facility has a zero-tolerance approach to unreliability. We need "serious candidates" who are committed to the 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM schedule.
