Belleview Care Center in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) to join our memory care team. You will administer medications under a licensed nurse, monitor for side effects, and support residents with ADLs in a calm, respectful environment.

The role offers rotating 12-hour shifts, opportunities for ongoing training, tuition reimbursement, and benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Missouri Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA) certification in good standing.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Experience in long-term or memory care strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices and behavioral interventions is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any concerns promptly.
• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support residents with cognitive impairments using patience, empathy, and effective communication techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care.
• Assist in creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment tailored to memory care needs.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care.

Hours/Shifts:

• 12 Hour Shifts, 7:00am-7:00pm/7:00pm-7:00am, Rotating Schedule
• Flexibility to work weekends is required
