Job summary

Motive Infrastructure Solutions in Sacramento is seeking a hands-on laborer to assist with loading, transporting, and installing DC power systems at telecom sites.

The role requires physical strength to lift up to 135 lbs, strict adherence to safety protocols, and willingness to travel for 3-4 nights per week. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certified or equivalent training required.
• RF safety awareness is required.
• CPR certification is preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and transport DC power systems and equipment to and from telecom sites.
• Follow safety requirements, including PPE and proper lifting practices.
• Move batteries safely on and off site.
• Secure loads properly on the vehicle to prevent movement.
• Prep parts like No-ox on battery inter-cell connectors.
• Assemble nuts and bolts in correct order and orientation.
• Prep battery racks for installation.
• Dig trenches for AC and DC conduits.
• Record serial numbers accurately for device tracking.
• Adapt to extreme temperatures and varied environments (raw land, rooftops, basements).
• Maintain clean and organized work area; stay aware of surroundings.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To assist in safely loading & transporting DC power systems & equipment in and out of telecommunication cellular sites.
• Understand all safety requirements, such as PPE and lifting equipment.
• Be able to move batteries safely, in and out of a site safely.
• Properly secure the load on your vehicle.
• Prepping parts like No-ox on battery inter-cell connectors.
• Putting nuts and bolts together, in proper order and orientation.
• Prepping battery rack for installation.
• Digging trenches for AC & DC conduits
• Properly log birth and death serial number information.
• Exposure to extreme hot & cold environments at but not limited to raw land, mountain tops, basements, high traffic area & building rooftops.
• Keep the workplace clean.
• Know your surroundings in the workplace and understand potential dangers.

Work schedule 6:30am - 5:30pm, M-Th. (Sometimes Friday's)

Willing to work out of town 3-4 nights per week.

Physical Requirements:
