Job summary

Gracy Woods Nursing Center in Austin, TX is seeking full-time Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate care team.

You will deliver nursing care per physician orders, supervise licensed and non-professional staff, document patient history and vital signs, and maintain high standards of care within a senior living and rehabilitation setting. This fast-paced environment requires teamwork and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices, regulations, and directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions.
• Make nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees.
• Maintain acceptable standards of patient care.
• Cooperate and maintain good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.
• Obtain and document nursing history from the patient and/or significant others that is comprehensive of present conditions and prior problems.
• Record vital signs, notes, and changes.
