Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Student Nurse Extern to gain hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery under RN supervision. You will assist with patient care and apply nursing concepts in a real clinical setting.

This part-time (PRN) role requires enrollment in an accredited nursing program, completion of fundamentals, current BLS, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with competency training within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Successfully completed the fundamentals of nursing course (lecture & clinical) with demonstrated competency
• Confirmation of enrollment in a nursing program as a full-time student required each semester
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher while enrolled in your nursing program
• Complete all SNE competency training and education within 90 days of hire
