Job summary

Virtua Health’s Mount Holly location is hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for the Night shift. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care with evidence-based practices, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJ RN license, have L&D experience, strong communication, and be able to manage rapid changes.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NJ RN License.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team and family.
• Administer, monitor and document therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patient and family about care needs and safety.
• Demonstrate patient safety principles and standard precautions.
• Participate in orientation and performance improvement activities.
