Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN graduate with 12 months of nursing experience within the past five years, or recent RN re-entry program.
• ADN graduate with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within the past five years.
• GA RN license in good standing; BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments; multi-state compact (eNLC) status within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents care in records.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with patient/family input.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and demonstrates effective communication.
• Assists in orienting staff and delegates in leadership roles when assigned.
