Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Know Your Customer (KYC) Analyst to perform holistic due diligence reviews of High or Moderate Risk Customers in support of BSA/AML/KYC policies and procedures. You will evaluate risk at onboarding and conduct periodic reviews throughout the customer relationship.

You will research and analyze customer information to identify potential risks, escalate findings, and support the AML team with documentation, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in BSA/AML or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of banking operations and products.
• Knowledge of regulatory obligations and compliance.
• Knowledge of AML risks in transactions and credit.
• Knowledge of business entity documentation.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic due diligence reviews of high or moderate risk customers.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on money laundering and other risks.
• Research customers on internal systems and external databases (OFAC, CLEAR).
• Assist management with reports, audits, and procedural development.
