Infosys is seeking an Engineering Consultant 2 in Hartford, CT to drive cloud-native solutions in the financial services domain. You will elicit requirements, contribute to design, and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement robust, scalable systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes administration, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD practices, with a focus on reliability engineering, production support, and improving observability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Experience with EKS and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and SDLC abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications for the team.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support the development of design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques.
• Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback effectively.
• Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure that engineering solutions meet design specifications and criteria.
• Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and feedback received from cross-functional team, to enhance functionality.
• Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, identify and resolve interoperability issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members.

In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS).
• AWS Certifications.
• GitLab CI/CD.
• Multi-Cluster Kubernetes Governance.
• Platform Standardization and Automation.
• Experience with Cloud-Native Platform Engineering.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practices.
• Advanced Monitoring and Observability Solutions.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
