Job Description

AFS is seeking a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Here’s What You Need

• 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD and GitOps
• 5+ years of experience in-depth, hands‑on experience with packaging and securing applications as containers and working in Kubernetes
• In-depth, hands‑on experience building platforms at scale for containerized workloads leveraging Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning, operations, workload optimization, custom controllers/operators, workflow orchestration, logging monitoring, security, and troubleshooting. experience with deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (I.e TKG, Konvoy)
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm
• Experience creating custom Helm charts
• 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers
• DoD 8570 Compliant with IAT Level II certification (I.e Security+)

Bonus Points If You Have

• Certification in container orchestration systems (i.e. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development)
• Experience working with Platform One and BigBang

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
