Job summary

A large printing company in St. Charles, Illinois is seeking a machine operator to operate and maintain offline binding and finishing equipment. You will be responsible for setting up machinery, performing standard adjustments, and ensuring optimal machine operation. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge and experience in operations. The pay ranges from $17.65 to $19.20 per hour, with various benefits included.

Job Description

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment. Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed
• May coordinate the assignment of crewmembers and may provide training for new team members

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment
• Other duties as assigned

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.65 to $19.20 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, and shift differential.
