Droids On Roids is seeking a Kotlin Multiplatform Software Engineer to build native Android and iOS apps using shared code. You will work across Kotlin and Swift codebases in an Agile team and contribute to feature delivery from UI to backend communication.

You should have 3+ years mobile development experience, strong knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform, MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture, and modern UI frameworks. Fluency in English and Polish helps collaboration with global clients.

• 3+ years of mobile development experience.
• Commercial experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Proficient in Kotlin and Swift languages.
• Knowledge of design patterns used in mobile apps.
• Experience with MVVM or MVI architecture.
• Proficiency in UI frameworks: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, UIKit.
• Experience with Dependency Injection.
• Ability to implement HTTP communication using Ktor Client.
• Asynchronous coding with Kotlin Coroutines and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience writing automated tests and ensuring clean code.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and multi-module projects.

We’re looking for a Kotlin Multiplatform Software Engineer to build high-quality native applications. If you’re proficient in Kotlin and Swift (even at different levels), enjoy working in an agile environment and are passionate about clean, maintainable code, we’d love to hear from you!

At the beginning of 2025, Droids On Roids joined forces with Apadmi, a European digital products company specialising in mobile. We create digital experiences that generate measurable value for organisations and their customers. Our group brings together Product, Design, Engineering, Data and AI, Delivery and Growth capabilities across operating companies.

As Apadmi scales, Product is becoming one coherent group capability: shared standards, careers, methods and investment, applied with meaningful authority close to clients and teams.

You will be:

• Developing native mobile applications for Android and iOS using shared Kotlin Multiplatform code,
• Working with both Kotlin and Swift codebases,
• Delivering entire features, including UI, state management, business logic, and backend communication,
• Writing automated tests and working with the CI/CD process,
• Shaping the application architecture, and ensuring high code quality,
• Contacting with clients, product owners, and business analysts,
• Collaborating with developers and QA engineers in Agile teams,
• Mentoring and supporting other developers by sharing knowledge, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices in Kotlin Multiplatform development.

Requirements – we want you if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mobile Developer,
• Commercial experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP),
• Knowledge of Kotlin and Swift languages,
• Knowledge of design patterns used in mobile applications,
• Experience working with MVVM or MVI architecture,
• Proficiency in UI frameworks: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, and UIKit,
• Experience with Dependency Injection,
• Ability to implement HTTP communication using Ktor Client,
• Ability to work with asynchronous code using Kotlin Coroutines and Swift Concurrency,
• Skills in writing automated tests,
• Ability to write clean, simple, and testable code,
• Knowledge of Google-recommended app architecture or Clean Architecture,
• Experience working with multi-module applications,
• Great communication and time-management skills,
• Fluent communicaton in English and Polish, written and spoken (minimum B2 level).

What would additionally impress us:

• Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform,
• Ability to manage dependencies using Koin library,
• Experience in working with Git submodules, KMMBridge or Monorepos.
