Motion Recruitment is hiring a Back End Developer to design, develop, implement, and support the back end of Kotlin/Java-based web applications in a fast-paced agile setting. You will work with the latest frameworks and tools to build high-performance, scalable systems.

The role emphasizes API design, data structures, caching, and multithreaded architecture, with growth into AI APIs and cloud platforms. Strong Java/Kotlin and basic front-end exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Solid understanding of API design, data structures, caching, design patterns, and multithreaded, high-performance architecture.
• Comfortable working in a casual but fast-paced agile environment.
• Java 11+ and Kotlin (coroutine expertise required for senior-level candidates).
• Front-end experience with jQuery, AngularJS, or React is a big plus.

Responsibilities
