Job summary

Wasabi Technologies is seeking a experienced Supply Chain Manager – Commodity Management to join our Operations team in Kosovo. The role focuses on developing and executing sourcing strategies for technology hardware, including storage, servers, and networking equipment.

The candidate will manage supplier relationships, monitor market trends, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to enable cost optimization, supply continuity, and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Ability to monitor market trends, capacity, and pricing conditions.
• Experience in forecasting, supplier performance management, and cost reduction.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies for technology hardware categories including storage, servers, networking equipment, and related components.
• Manage supplier relationships, lead supplier business reviews, and track performance against KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capacity, and pricing conditions to support sourcing decisions and reduce supply-chain risk.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to support new product introductions, product transitions, and long-term supply planning.
• Drive cost savings initiatives through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and supply base optimization strategies.
• Support supply and capacity planning activities, including forecasting, allocation management, and coordination with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
