Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a part-time Research Interventionist (Korean-speaking RN) in the School of Nursing to support a web-app based physical activity program. Interventions occur weekly via chat in Korean or English, under the supervision of Dr. Wonshik Chee.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in the U.S. and are fluent in Korean and English with strong communication skills; familiarity with Zoom, MS Office, and Teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic proficiency with Zoom, MS Office and Teams
• Ability to work across participants in different time zones

Responsibilities

• Weekly interventions with participants via chat in Simplified Korean or English.
• Maintain a research diary, manage communications for participant payments and Fitbit distribution, and coordinate with the PI, Coordinator and peer interventionists.
• Engage in recruitment activities to support the study.
